Icon etiquette question

OK, so a very nice LJ person put up all sorts of screen grabs from an unaired (in the US, anyway) episode of SGA and I hacked the icon you see on this post out of it. She said in her post that was OK, as long as I credited her.

How does one do that? In the post itself, or the comments on the icon?

And...how's the icon look?

I was told we should credit them in the comments of the icon. I've been doing the "by < lj user..." thing.

when I upload the icon, I put a little lj-user made me in the comments section. Sometimes, if I can't remember, I'll put in "Who made me?" and the iconmaker will let me know.
