I used to go to Oxford Books every time I visited Atlanta, Ga, which was never enough, and they closed it before I moved here. That was a used bookstore that truly understood the needs of book addicts.

Saw your answer on the front page and had to stop by to say -- WORD. I spent hours upon hours of my childhood roaming through their used bookstore. I can still spend hours roaming through their comic book store, but it's just not the same without the creaky wooden floors and musty book smell.

Oxford Books was the first bookstore I ever truly loved (once I found Oxford Books I realized that what I felt for Waldenbooks and B. Dalton was just a pale imitation of love); I used to go there all the time in high school on book buying sprees. It's so sad that it's closed now; there isn't really anything to replace it.
