He's a very talkative Siamese mix with arctic blue eyes and a slightly cautious demeanor (he's young; give him time!) It's totally Rodney McKay.

I really, really meant to go into the PetSmart and pick up the cat food and go back to the car and there were the pet adoption people with, like, two of everything to a cage because it's been such a busy summer. In my defense, I only took one.

Veronica (my other cat, who was so looking forward to being an Only Cat) is just appalled. She remembers to be mad at me for, like, a whole hour at a time before she comes to sit on my lap and complain about the alien creature in her bedroom. Then she remember who brought that thing in and hides behind the couch again with a whole sullen glare routine.

Everyone should have at least two cats. It's a never ending round of entertainment.

That having spent all but five months of her life as the junior cat (to Elmer,) Veronica will be classier about it.

So far, not so much. Somewhere in kitty heaven, Elmer is pointing and laughing and going "see? iz rilly noying wen tha do tht!"

Veronica has a really amazing hiss on her. I never knew!

Looking down at him from above, I go to more of a "puzzle piece" place, but from this angle, it does look like some seen through a telescope in the night sky or a microscope in a fertility lab. I lean toward the comet, m'self. ;)
