I always have to hold down vomit during the Charlie/Amita bits (SO don't need to see her coming down from his bedroom, yeesh), but otherwise I thought it was a decent premiere.
Thankfully, they so do. ;) Peter McNichol was on the bubble with the scruff (for me, anyway,) but he was meant to be living the contemplative life and is endearingly weird enough to carry it off.

You know you've been a slasher too long when your het filter is on autopilot. I literally do not remember that scene. Maybe I was fetching snacks? [iz puzzled, possibly alarmed)

That scruff thing really got on my nerves. I chalked it off to Tony Scott being Directeur!Tony. I've gotten used to cleanshaven Charlie - his scruff bugged me.
On the other hand, loved Colby's guns. He looked good in the muscle tee. Who knew that was hiding under the suit coats?
I never want to see Colby suited up again, unless it's a tux for his big fat gay wedding to David! That won't be for awhile, though. David, while not as mad as at the beginning, is v. hurt, and will require a lot of comfort to get past this. Colby, of course needs his own comfort right now, but given the look on Don's face as he watched that "confession" over and over? I think Colby's good for an alternate source. ;)
While threesomes just wouldn't work for me, Don and Colby in manly hugs, Colby comforting David, and David angsting to Don would be excellent. There is the potential for some nice big angry!David here too.
Still sulking that neither one was giving Colby the "kiss of life" in that penultimate scene
They showed slightly more class than your average Stargate actor about it, but the principle remains the same. The kiss of life is still kissing, and real boys don't kiss men.
