I'm never there. MARTA is single tracking through the Peachtree Center, so if we overlook the fact I didn't park my butt in a train seat until 956,I can blame them for my tardineSs.

See, this is why I always want to stay at a hotel, even at Dallas area cons. It's the only way I have a chance of getting my ass in a con chair before noon.

At any rate, I have time for a nice (expensive) brakfast buffet before the Hyatt atrium becomes impassible.

I was reading in the D*C comm that registration is way up again this year (some theorize it happens whenever James Marsters is there), plus they've got a new fire marshall that's really trying to enforce code when there's less room to start with due to construction at one of the hotels. They were saying Friday night was what a Saturday night would normally be, so Saturday night may be a vision of Hell.

Yesterday was quite a bit more hectic than I expected, and the Hyatt atrium is basically impassible between panels, and hella crowded during them.

No major mishaps that I've heard of.

I do wonder if there's something to the Marsters theory, because they said this is the highest number of attendees since the last time he was there -- and I think that was the last time I was there.

God, until you mentioned it I never realized how much I missed MARTA. It wasn't the cleanest bus system in the 'verse, but damn it went everywhere. Plus, you know, trains.
