I can't believe they set up Curtis! TV Guide promised they weren't to whack people this year the way they did last year! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Also, is it just me, or are there audible echoes from the F/X department..."Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! It's just a little nuke!" And someone else says "Oh, for the love of Kepler! Let them do it! ANYthing to shut them UP!"

Assad had better be prepared to come across with some serious sweat action, is all I'm sayin'.

That was really weird to me, because Curtis dropped and everyone just kind of left him there. Didn't look like anyone was trying to stop bleeding or anything.

Maybe they felt it was pointless, since not only is he not Jack, but he was shot by Jack?

Seriously, though, it did set up Assad as something other than a tame furriner (established his chops as an evil bad-ass) and Jack's "by any means necessary" seriousness to getting through the day with some success.

I admit that I gasped aloud and then had to fight back a tear or two when the camera lingered on poor Curtis following the gunshot.

But at least Chloe seems to getting some regular CTU-booty these days (Spenser, Milo, Morris). That counts for something, right??

And that new 'do ... damn girl, get on with your bad self!

Miss Chloe does look fabulous, and has managed to remain her dour geek self despite it all. :)

I'll bet she wished she had her taser handy when the boys started hosing down the decks with testosterone, though.
