So I didn't watch the debate last night

But I checked my Facebook feed this morning and apparently both candidates won. I mean, like, totally slew. No contest, each was bathing in the blood of their enemy.

The echo chamber of American politics is starting to scare me a little.

Ugh. I didn't watch, either, couldn't bear it after foolishly pointing out to a bunch of trolly dudebros on various articles that, no, "every guy does that, get over it, you sensitive C-words!" isn't actually a very good excuse.

I'm disengaging as much as possible until election day. Every time I hesr a clip from Trump, I want to unfriend everyone who supports him, and every time I see s clip of Hillary silently enduring him, I feel the need to start slapping random Trumpettes.

I'm not a huge fan of Hillary's - I think some of the shit of hers is shady as hell - but she's not a baboon. I fear, though, when she's elected we'll have four years of the good ol' boys throwing babyfits at having to address a woman as Madam President.

If Trump's latest foray into the gutter basement has sufficiently tanked the GOP, Hill may get herself a Dem Congress.

As for 'not a baboon?' I had no idea who her husband was beyond 'not!Bush' and 'likely to speak in complete sentences.'
