Why, yes! I still carry a cane
Aug. 22nd, 2016 11:01 am1. For getting up in the middle of the night (mostly for the headlight)
2. For the later hours of the day when I am tired and my knee hurts and screw what my PT said anyway.
3. For every time I get out of the car in a handicapped parking spot, because I do not want to die.
They're always watching.

Date: 2016-08-22 08:50 pm (UTC)I often use it more for keeping people from getting too close and bumping into me. It wouldn't take much to knock me over some days. The cane acts as a safety device twice over.

Date: 2016-08-27 02:37 pm (UTC)Best thing I did was get a folding cane. I got a lightweight backpack that could hold it and snacks, plus some of the swag I picked up. I walked as long as I could, then out came the cane and I had even more room for swag.
Sciatica has calmed down to normal levels. Mainly because the brain can only deal with one major bit of pain at a time, and the migraines came back in force. If it's not one damn thing, it's another.
