I'm confused.

Why did no one mention the single best reason for House to brush off Stacy? Which is to say THE BITCH IS A BAD BET!!!

One needn't be a slasher to see that this is a fair-weather lover. She left House when he hit a physical rough patch and was getting ready to do it to Mark. Who needs that? Not House, not Mark, not anyone.

Still, until that farcical last scene where they have Wilson pretending he's sorry Stacy is gone, was he not the very picture of jealousy? And delight that he has his House all to himself? I was certainly the picture of glee.

I totally agree! I yelled 'BITCH!' at the tv screen and everything. ;)

Wilson was totally jealous, it was so cute. And how adorable was the hop over the balcony?!

Same post...

...just with me logged in now. :D

Sufficiently adorable as to fill me with gleeful glee, is what. House going to Wilson for the scoop on what Stacy said was just the best fanservice I've seen for slashers since Wilson went to find House at the bar during a holiday party Mrs. Wilson was then throwing without him.

Ohhhhhh the slash. Seriously, I kept expecting Wilson to go bitch slap Stacy, LOL. Now House can get his head out of his ass so there's room for Wilson's dick.

. o O (Did I seriously just type that?)
Oh well.

STACY'S GONE!!!!!

It is to be hoped she's gone for good, but they always gotta leave that shippy wiggle room, don't they? It was commented upon earlier in the evening with Entertainment Tonight did a bit on House that featured Sela Ward.

No, no--it's self sacrificing. That's Wilson trying to do for House what House has done for Stacy--send his lover back to the person he thinks he/she will be happiest with. Wilson knows Stacy's a loser, but she's what House (thinks he) wants.

Well, that's *my* story ;-P

I hadn't thought about that, but this does make cutting Stacy loose completely House's idea/notion/doing.

I'd still rather the writers realized and put out there that Stacy is a bad bet for damaged men, though. It being true and all.

You and me both. Wilson seems to be the only one to remember that Stacy's already dumped House once. And neither ever deals with the whole leg issue. Yes, they mention that maybe House is holding a grudge, and maybe Stacy feels guilty... but they never talk about the underlying issue, that being trust. I mean--how masochistic would House have to be to go back to a woman like that?

It just makes my brain itch that everyone was all worried about Stacy subjecting herself to the Horror that is House or something. She was the only one actually worried about what would happen to House if she stayed with Mark, or so it seemed.

Just a trainwreck all the way around.

And how about that whole "we're done with the HIV plotline now, so let's just wrap that sucker up and go home" thing? yeark!
