— John Scalzi (@scalzi) March 22, 2015In case you're not a subscriber of the NY Times and are near or out of your free articles for the month, the link leads to the news that Ted Cruz is going to annouce his candidacy tomorrow (Monday, 3/23) and seeks to raise forty or fifty million bucks for the effort. He's doing it without the usual 'exploratory committee' rigmarole, for whatever that's worth.
I'm considering options for what to do if a Tea Party darling like Cruz makes real headway. Is this the country I want to live in?
