Or, Wilson Stands By His Man.

I mean, Wilson so stood by his man as the only sane being standing witness to the madness that is Foreman in charge of House. "You know this is never going to happen." Words to live by when getting after House, kiddies.

Will someone please check the Lost'n'Found for Chase's testicles? He's getting a little too comfortable without them.

Cameron channeling House again. STILL NOT ATTRACTIVE! Or in any way effective. It just highlights what an ass she is when she's slightly correct in her assessment, but wrong wrong wrong-ity WRONG about whatever it is House is slightly right about.

I am disappointed that Foreman let all this go to his head. Hand him the damned pen and access to the symptom board and what's with the handbasket, dude? Is it getting warmer? House has always been a raging anarchist. When has this made him a less competent diagnostician? What in-character quirk would cause Foreman to forget any of that for even a heartbeat?

Cuddy sort of pulled it out at the end when she verbally paddled Foreman's ass about losing control of House (as if he ever had it,) but really. This is never going to happen.

But Wilson. Steadfast, pretty, Wilson. I loves him so!

Is anyone else amused that everyone is always going to Wilson when they're trying to figure out House?

I don't know, he was scoring a few direct hits regarding Cameron and her inability to be in charge. Of course, it also highlighted why he shouldn't be in charge.

I am disappointed that Foreman let all this go to his head.

I've often gotten the feeling the Foreman is actually the closest to House in personality, which is why they clash so much. The only difference is Foreman is more into order, while House is chaos personified. They're can both be "right" but they go about it in different ways.

I can't decide if Cuddy put Foreman in charge to harrass House or to get Forman some learning about how things really work.

Very. And I think it's adorable how bemused Wilson always looks, as if he's thinking something between "hey, I had to work for this! no freebies!" and "if you have to ask, it can't really be made understandable to you."

Yes, but she's arguably beneath or beside him in the food chain. Chase has a serious problem with caving to authority when authority is doing the wrong thing.

I figured Foreman for being the Duckling who best understood when House should be reined in and when he should be "given his head," as it were, but Foreman just became an ineffectual cross between HospitalPolicy!Cuddy and Obnoxious!BoringCase!House.

If House and the ducklings are the diagnostics department, then Foreman really was the only choice short of bringing in a doctor from some other department. Chase made the mistake, and Cameron can't say no to House. I had to agree with the Ball-less Wonder on that assessment.

On the one hand, I'd like to see some more history about how House and Wilson met and became friends, despite their apparent differences in personality, but on the other hand, I fear the writers may screw it up. I'd rather have it vague where my imagination can fill in the details. And not just in the slashy sense. ;)

I think they're side-by-side in the food chain, but for different reasons. Chase is more of the type to break the rules, but only if he thinks he can get away with it, otherwise, he just follows the leader and isn't a very intuitive thinker. Cameron is the type who is a born follower, but she can't understand why people wouldn't want to follow her, even though she wants it so very badly.

Not only best understood when, but best knew how, I think. I don't think the others have enough authority to even attempt to be in charge of House. Only Wilson can do that, and there needs to be a safe word. ;)

I got the impression that the committee wanted someone from the outside to oversee the department, but Cuddy faked it by choosing Foreman. I can't see any reason that they'd want someone from within to be in charge. It's sort of like putting the fox in charge of the henhouse.

I liked how Chase told Cameron that putting her in charge would be asking for a sexual harassment case. The woman is a walking-sexual-harassment and she bugs the dren out of me.

We should have had more House/Wilson interaction. *sniff*

Foreman should watch his back. He's got the double whammy of being in charge and the only male in the Diagnostics group Cameron hasn't hit on. If Foreman catches something fatal, he's doomed in more than one sense of the word.
