ZOMG The heat is ON

I don't mean the cops, I mean the heat, as in central. For the first time since early spring, the temperature in the apartment dropped below 71F (approx 21.6C.)

It has that first-time heat smell, too. (sneeze)

Ah, that burnt dust smell. The true scent of Autumn.

In our house, we place bets on which combination of smoke alarms will go off after the first time we turn the heat on.
