The Last Ship

So, I've only seen two episodes of this series (am in the process of binge watching the first eight) but already my immediate reaction toa threat from a heavily armed Russian ship is "don't worry, Captain Manly Badass; they won't be able to hit the broad side of a barn, either."

Seriously, unbelievable is the only word for how bad all of the bad guys' aim is. Other than that, it's an exciting show.

I'm not certain which scene you're referring to, but in the general scheme of things, there's a reason the Russian's are missing. For now.

Last scene of the second episode introduces Russian former Admiral by having him threaten to nuke Captain Manly Badass and his intrepid crew out of the water.

Up to that point, no gun totin' bad guy has fatally his *any*thing, and here we are including five presumably elite Russian gunships taking potshots at scientists parked in the snow.

It was going to detract hugely from the tension for me had that trend continued.
