You would not BELIEVE the reaction when, as I could not lay hands on a ballcap to wear backwards, I showed up in a knit cap with the edge pulled up high enough to look like Russian mafiya. With the loose jeans and rolled-up T-shirt sleeves, I cut quite a figure.
