I fell off the stairs at my apartment this morning, twisting my right knee, ankle and hip while scraping my left forearm.

Bleagh. Tylenol and an antibiotic wipe seem to be handling it, tho

I think it was either the late great astrologer Linda Goodman or whoever wrote "The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need" who said those of us born under the rising sign Sagittarius are notably clumsy.

Then I read a thing about how all the charts used for astrology are based on ones that are, like, 3000 years out of date and, given the precession of the equinoxes, I'm actually a Virgo and Pluto is no longer a planet anyway, which is wrong, I think it should have been grandfathered and screw science; anyway as rationalizations go, klutz-gene is a pretty good one.

(Pluto in Virgo was supposed to be my low crap tolerance. No telling what namby-pamby sign it's in on up to date star charts even if it were still a planet, not that I'm bitter.

The day after was the biggest bitch. The bitchery has been declining pretty well since, thanks.

I usually try to take a dose of painkiller before bed if I'd done something epically heinous to myself. It doesn't make the next day pain-free, but at least I can move.

Hope things are still progressing to less bitchery.

I completely forgot about my leftover generic Vicodin (facepalm.) No, really. I'm torn between "I've got to use that stuff up," and "what am I thinking? I want that stuff to expire without occasion to use it!"
