I went home, I went to bed...
May. 22nd, 2013 09:38 amI woke up this morning and it was still true.
I threatened to throat-punch a co-worker in front of a Vice President.
(facepalm) Well, at least I didn't threaten to throat-punch the Vice President. Also, it probably helps that he wanted to do her violence, too.
Seriously? Do not call out a Vice President on a conference call where he's trying to get something done, even if what you think you're calling him out about is true. Question him later in terms like "help me understand how what we did doesn't constitute new, chargeable requirements for the developers?" Or maybe let the developers, who have been remarkably quiet on the subject of payment, do it if they feel it's necessary.
When was the last time anyone on my flist asked a vendor to do work and the vendor was remarkably quiet about payment? Me, never.
