So, in response to my ramble about not having a heart condition, two people actually posted words to the effect of "glad it wasn't a heart attack" and nialla42 wondered aloud if there were a Hallmark greeting card to the effect of "glad it wasn't a heart attack."

Cognitive Dissonance

Covering the heatwave on tonight's evening news, one of the field reporters encouraged people to check on their elderly neighbors. My reactions?

1. "Good idea."

2. "If anyone checks on me, I will cut them."
