Covering the heatwave on tonight's evening news, one of the field reporters encouraged people to check on their elderly neighbors. My reactions?

1. "Good idea."

2. "If anyone checks on me, I will cut them."

For any greater Atlanta area readers who had a notion to come check, thanks and I'm fine >.

Unfortunately, around here, they're hot in the "OMG, it's been 100+ for about 20 days in a row" sort of way.

Our police sergeant only has a chance of catching a criminal if they're running away with a doughnut. Downhill. And they trip. [facepalm]
