Is it just me, or does prison looking really, really good on Tony DiNozzo? And interrogation? I don't believe I've ever broken a sweat faster over the young man.

Abby ROCKS. Full stop.

Mark Harmon's generosity as an actor in the prison cell scene with Michael Weatherly was a True Thing of Beauty.

Ducky rocked and rolled, baybee. Jimmy Palmer doesn't quite have the panache to carry off the odd tasteless remark, and Ducky slapped his candy-ass back into its place.

Ziva...did not completely suck. Nice moment when she was at a loss as to what she could do, how she could help, and Gibbs had no time for her. Removed a smidge of the Ziva Sue patina, but there's still plenty of room for industrial strength scrubbies.

Oughtn't Madame Director come under some sort of scrutiny for allowing the Chipster into the building, let alone near evidence? And should there not be some sort of examination of Agent Diva's liaisonship? That was a pretty damned significant error in judgment, letting that man through the door.

EDITED TO ADD: THERE ARE NOW SPOILERS FOR HOUSE IN THE COMMENTS

That was an excellent episode. And yeah, somebody needs to get an asschewing for hiring Chip.

House also rocked. The first scene coming out of the apartment when Wilson says we're not a couple? Hah!

And the two scenes I found faitly creepy are now explained. They wre creepy. Bad House.

And Chase with his bitten lip? Will we have a Chase with AIDS scare?

Does the virus even move that fast? It seemed to be the same day Cameron was exposed, which was topical on her face. As far as I can tell, the highest risk was if a fleck of blood got into her eye. Does the HIV replicate fast enough to pass from one host to another the same night? And, if prophylaxis keeps her from getting it, why isn't everyone in a high risk group on this stuff?

No, I think if Chase turns up positive, it won't be because of that exceptionally ill-advised evening, but Cameron will be suspect.

I find a pregnancy scare to be a lot more likely, m'self.

As far as I can tell, the highest risk was if a fleck of blood got into her eye.

IIRC, the risk is higher if it was in the mouth or nose. An open wound, even a mind scratch, could increase the risk.

Does the HIV replicate fast enough to pass from one host to another the same night?

I did a little Wikipedia searching (my reference library away from work), and it says "the window period of between three weeks and six months from the time of HIV infection until the immune system produces detectable amounts of antibodies. During this window period an infected person can transmit HIV to others, without their HIV infection being detectable using an antibody test. Antiretroviral therapy during the window period can delay the formation of antibodies and extend the window period beyond 12 months."

So according to that, there could be a slim chance of transmission, but I'd really doubt it.

And, if prophylaxis keeps her from getting it, why isn't everyone in a high risk group on this stuff?

It's generally only used as a prevention effort during a "known event" situation, such as a needle stick or other exposure to blood from a person known to be infected.

The drugs are very expensive, not to mention "antiretroviral regimens are complex, have serious side effects, pose difficulty with adherence, and carry serious potential consequences from the development of viral resistance because of nonadherence to the drug regimen or suboptimal levels of antiretroviral agents."

If someone doesn't have the willpower to abstain or at least use a condom, or avoid IV drug use, then they don't have the willpower to take the meds.

So, we're thinking pregnancy scare is much more likely? I gathered from the morning after shifty looks that there was a condom in play, but maybe not all the rules of usage were faithfully adhered to?

Cameron did ask the guys (including Chase) if they'd ever not used a condom, and they all said no. But everyone lies, so...

I don't think they'll have a pregnancy scare, but we'll get references back to the incident itself.
