I've clearly listened to too many books about early humans, evolution and gender dimorphism because this thought popped into my head about two days ago and I'd like to leave soon:

Most if not all of the differences between the sexes can be explained by the fact that one gender was largely responsible for hunting and killing dumb animals while the other was responsible for turning inchoate infants into functional humans. Don't be yelling at women just because social skills and complex intellect get you farther than spatial analysis skills and upper body strength these days.

Either one works, thanks. :D

I had to get that out of my head before I blurted it at work to one of the dumb-animal killers who thinks he's organized. Baby, when I think you're kidding yourself in the area of organization (because I'm not very; I have recognized, confronted and embraced this;) then you are in a very bad way.

Oh, and the part I forgot? That could really get me into trouble at work? "Basically, men are allowed to chase and kill things that annoy them; women are not." But that sound like I'd have no problem with swatting the odd kid into oblivion, which is so not the case. The only thing I treasure more than children is the ability to hand them back to their mothers when they need functional human being drills.
