One of my neighbors made it sound like they were trying to nuke the place from orbit for a good 15 minutes after midnight. Interrupted my porn reading and could have resulted in their arrest because the county's under a burn ban and fireworks are verboten.

The cats are Not Afraid of, well, anything of course, but definitely not fireworks. They were huddled up for warmth, and to make sure I wasn't ascared of nuthn. They want to be very clear on that point.
