(uncut review as this is a rerun episode of the first season of House:
edited to cut since some of y'all are places this won't show for a year, maybe:

TV.com Summary of "Sports Medicine"

What Tv.com (a poor substitute for www.tvtome.com, unless you like flashy and superficial ads) leaves out is the vast lake of House/Wilson slash one sinks into without a ripple in Sports Medicine, the 12th episode of the first season of House.

Saving the world by defeating the Yankees, saving a just-discovered pregnancy by properly diagnosing whatever turned out to be wrong with the baseball dude, whether or not House gets his brief on the similarities between "luperon" and "milk" finished in time for his lawyer...none of this matters next to the fact that HOUSE AND WILSON ARE BREAKING UP! OMG!! WTF!!!

And they said so right on the air. It's totally canon that they have something to break up from! [swoonTHUD]

The whole monster truck rally situation shone every spotlight in this galactic quadrant on exactly how married those guys are. That House would go to the trouble, that he would have such high confidence Wilson would drop everything, that Wilson would go to the lengths he did to hide what he was really up to Friday night, which had nothing to do with his career or marriage to that other woman person he's alleged to be married to...[boggle]

I'll need a forklift to get the slash chunks out of my livingroom from the set up alone, never mind the volume of the non-verbal communication going on during their scenes together.

All that, and I was still seeing a tendre from Chase to House and a prickle between House and Foreman. Was this episode fan service or what?

LOL I'm glad I wasn't the only one yelling "See see see!" when House asked if they were breaking up.

Also had a laugh when the three padawans were discussing House's sex life and Chase mockingly corrects himself and says that House doesn't have sex, he 'makes love'.

And poor Foreman--finding out he's just a roadie after all.

Oh, [livejournal.com profile] nialla42 and I regularly need a cleaning crew for the dribbles, chunklets and slabs'o'slash that fall off our TV screens after House. I swear they recruited Sela Ward for the heaviest duty beard they could find next season!

Most likely, but despite the fact that I like Sela and think Stacy has a strong enough presence to make a match for House, I just can't believe any romance between the two at this point. Sorry, but undermining a man's personal rights doesn't say "true love" to me. Says lawsuit, in fact. Can't imagine why House didn't get a restraining order, except that Wilson probably talked him out of it, hoping that they could all play nice together.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out next season. My money's on Stacy's husband and Wilson's wife running off together, probably shortly after Stacy and Wilson bare their claws in a battle for House rights. Poor Wilson, he's too ethical. She'll eat him alive
