Dragon*Con 2011

justalurkrSo, my day job co-worker who is also on staff at D*C was bragging that the new pre-registration system would have me in and out in 15 minutes. He lied.
It took 24 whole minutes to process me through from joining the line outside to wandering off with my badge to find the blood drive and bleed for the cause. (hmph)
I love the Dragon*Con blood drive staff; they're so easy to scam extra snacks off of. (Does ending a sentence with two prepositions cancel out the evil?)
My head is all atwirl from massive chocolate chip cookie and juice box consumption, but I'm blaming it on the dizzying variety of tracks from which I need to choose, and choose wisely. I'll be getting my exercise, as the bastards moved the Stargate Track to the Westin Hotel (fifth hotel added to the Dragon*con roster.) I haven't checked up on the Who panels, but if it's all down there, I should be fine. Yes, walking to and fro amongst five hotels in midtown Atlanta could be aerobic, but at this time of year it's just overheated torture.
Maybe I'll just see bunches of the Film Festival instead!
