omg DENTIST

justalurkrI spent two weeks with my parents in California and did the following:
Saw the dentist for the first time since that woman in Florida accused her dentist of giving her AIDS in his office
Went to three aqua-robics classes and zero Pilates classes
Because the dentist, while he found zeroZipNADA new cavities after decades of dentist dodging (am still stunned) did take a notion to repair a 42 year old chip in my left front tooth and replace the seven mercury amalgam fillings applied just before and after the childhood fluoridation treatment that is most likely responsible for my current no-new-cavities status
Visited a friend of the family in Reno
LOST FIVE POINT TWO POUNDS
Yes. On vacation. And not because my teeth hurt. Mom thinks it's because of the all the aquarobics and treadmilling I did, but I happen to know it's because I was cut off from my depression comfort food as well as all the aquarobics and treadmilling I did. (sigh) It's hard to be good with an entire grocery store shelf of Nestles and Hersheys down the street.
Of course, behind the cut is the Accusing Look I got last night upon my return.
