The end of petty-assed partisan politics. Oh, there will always be ideological differences but OMG can we please keep it at a higher level than personal attack?
Investment in infrastructure. Terrorists don't have to blow up bridges or dams or poiwon the food supply in America; they're falling apart on their own.
If deregulation of the financial system = the current meltdown, let's put some of those rules that were first instituted to prevent a repeat of the Depression back into place; obviously people can't be expected to self-police when there's money to be made.
Never, ever to hear a President say "go spend money" in answer to a reporter's question about what Americans can do in a crisis.
