About three seconds after one-click ordering that God-awful shifter SEAL romance, I remembered that I share Kindle and Prime privileges with my mother.

Who occasionally browses my library for something to read.

I share a Prime account with my father, so he can get two-day shipping, but thankfully he doesn't have a Kindle (and I don't recall him reading a book ever). I read fanfic on my Kindle. There's no way I want either of my parents to find that stuff.

When my mother has to take me to a doctor's appointment, I put any unread fic or books still on the carousel and put them in a collection, then let my mom play games while she waits for me.

I noticed there is now an option in my version of the kindle app to "remove from carousel." I wonder if it's for magic moments like this?

Nope, removing from carousel just removes from the current device's carousel.
