justalurkrSome time back in June, right before I disappeared for two weeks on vacation at my parents' house, the Vice President in Charge of The Whole Chain of Command Leading To Me called a teleconference and told the 205 people on it they were part of an "affected work group" in an upcoming surplus. My group finds out whether we're affected (i.e., no more job for us) July 31.
