No, I've never read Twilight and have no big plans to do so, as I have heard it's a young adult or teen romance. What other-than-adult romance means, of course, is ZOMG All of Teh Angst, yet none of the sex. I will go to bat for ol' Bella, though, because the poor girl catches hell for being...the heroine of a very old school romance novel. The kind of old school where the heroine was intentionally a cypher, because we aren't here to identify with the heroine, we're here to vicariously bed the...oh, wait.

Yeah, okay. Screw Bella. Or not, depending on your placement relative to the age of consent and general carnal preferences. It's all good. Unless you're too young to screw Bella, in which case YOU KIDS GET OFFA DA LAWN!
