Paging librarians
Apr. 9th, 2007 09:51 amWhat happens when one librarian goes away for awhile and comes back to find that the substitute librarian has recatalogued everything using a different system? Is this justifiable homicide?
The plot bunny involves Stargate: Atlantis, of course. I don't seem to have any other kind. Mary Sue Librarian and her kid sister, Skipper, are coming for a visit (or at least a cameo.) Mary Sue Librarian is an Ancient Keeper of Knowledge, who gets dumped out of some form of stasis for reasons that don't require exploration at this juncture. She says something about re-charging ZPMs, then goes to look up how to do it for the idiots squatting in her City, then finds that someone has recatalogued the entire database using a system that makes no sense.
There is a moment with the tech standing in for Earth librarians. How does it go?
(Me, I'm picturing that moment when Daniel Jackson found out the Marines had moved the artifacts.)
