And is still on of the most enthralling depictions of the seven living American generations I've ever seen. Gorgeously made!

Edited to add: embedded sharing code appears to be available from desktop YouTube only. Hmmm.

Identical twin Irish chefs.

They cook quick, healthy meals, but who cares. Identical twin Irish chefs.

did I mention sleeveless?

Lady Gaga, Tony Stark and Applause

And for the nth time in a row, missing the Friday 10am "How To Write a Story in an Hour" panel because I cannot get myself together.

Edited to add the other possibly most perfect Tony Stark vid ever:

Henri 1
Henri 2 - Paws de Deux
Henri 3 - Le Vet
Henri 4 - L'Haunting (Halloween themed)
Henri 5 - The Worst Noel (Christmas themed)
Henri ? - Politique (Henri's views on politics -- tres chat)

As a public service, links to all of the Henri, Le Chat Noir, vids wherein someone turned their kitty cat into French art films.

No, really. It's all 11 hours trailered in honor of the release of the first part of The Hobbit.

(possibly the most perfect Rodney vid I've ever seen)

Why this vid kicks ass: Hands! Rodney McKay's beautiful, expressive hands! This is a marvelous tribute to our favorite snarky scientist. I can't hear this song without thinking about Rodney; it's almost as if it were written just for him. Rache & Sandy are two of my favorite fan vidders - you probably haven't seen their stuff unless you were lucky enough to see them presented at conventions in their videos rooms or have a membership to Vidders.net. (Their videos aren't posted on YouTube or Vimeo.) Hands down, if you'll pardon the pun, this is one of my all-time favorite videos in any fandom.

Stress - You need a membership to view videos on Vidders.net but it's free and totally worth it if you love to browse through schloads of incredibly well-made fan videos.

I've embedded the video under the cut. Enjoy! )

I'm not sure this one has made it to youtube:

Are you ready for the carebear Apocalypse?

If you haven't found your way to dragon*contv yet, there is a whole series of video clips about the two guys who clean up after Dragon*con. This one is my no-fail gigglefest:

A new one, no less! Found link at [livejournal.com profile] rivier's LJ while looking for porn:

Did he really do that?!?

Off to YouTube with you to see!

Don't tell [livejournal.com profile] mrshamill, whom I owe a beta, but I've been wasting time on Youtube again.

Let's not pull any punches. THIS is the SG-1 I want back. )

I love SGA!

I love this fandom.

This promo:
With A Little Bit of Stargate (Hewlett)

inspired this story:
Love in an Elevator
(NC-17, explicit m/m slash)

which has this vid:
Elevator Porn (No Sleep Tonight)
as a trailer.

That, my friends, is synergy. Or something equally cool.

[livejournal.com profile] speranza and [livejournal.com profile] shalott have hit the really good crack and produced the following songvid in response to the [livejournal.com profile] sga_flashfic Shark Challenge:

Title: Rumble (21MB; DIVX )
Vidders: Shalott and Speranza
VLC player if you need to download it.

Our response to the Shark Challenge. We're very sorry.

Or, best abuse of Leonard Bernstein in fannish insanity. Please soundly encourage them to continue sharing.

edited to add: Vid is funny slash or slashy fun, works either way, and very much McShep with a few other grim men in uniform ambling around for local color.

Mamoru has vidded! Well, she does that regularly, but this time, one of my favorite vidders has vidded about one of my favorite characters to one of my favorite songs:

Rodney McKay character study
Rufus Wainwright's "Hallelujah"
edited by Mamoru
findable at
Mamoru's Vid Page
Top of page.

It goes back to his very first appearance in "48 Hours" as he took a little wind out of Sammy's sails and comes all the way through "Trinity" at least in SGA's season 2, so beware spoilers, if you're avoiding them.

Oh, the angst. The woobie-ness that is Rodney! The vid is beautifully cut to the lyrics and showcases his journey through the Stargate universe. Go forth and enjoy!

And why didn't I link straight to the vid? Because

of course.
